RIASSUNTO
Porto Flavia è un’opera di ingegneria tra le più ardite nella storia mineraria della Sardegna. Rappresenta un’ambita meta turistica non solo per la struttura, ma anche per le bellezze paesaggistiche che la circondano. Porto Flavia è oggi musealizzato e accessibile nella sua interezza. Una ricerca faunistica condotta tra il 2005 e il 2007 ha permesso di mettere in evidenza la presenza di alcune specie animali all’interno del famoso sito industriale. Estendere la divulgazione legata al sito anche all’ambito delle specie viventi ivi presenti offre nuove opportunità di conoscenze interdisciplinari.
ABSTRACT
Porto Flavia is one of the most daring engineering works in Sardinian mining history. It is a sought-after tourist destination not only for the structure, but also for the scenic beauty that surrounds it. Porto Flavia is now a museum and accessible in its entirety. A wildlife research conducted between 2005 and 2007 reported the presence of some animal species within the famous industrial site. Extending the dissemination linked to the site also to the sphere of living species offers new opportunities for interdisciplinary knowledge.
