Contribution to the knowledge of the Nicolau Grutta fauna also known as Grutta de Traddia in Monte Cudias in Villaputzu (south-eastern Sardinia)

RIASSUNTO
Vengono riportati i risultati delle ricerche faunistiche svolte nel 2005 nella Grutta di Nicolau o Grutta de Traddia, situata nel Monte Cudias, nel comune di Villaputzu (Sardegna sud-orientale). Ad oltre trent’anni dall’ultimo contributo biospeleologico relativo a questa cavità vengono segnalati 5 nuovi taxa. A fronte di un limitato numero di specie di artropodi rilevate, vengono effettuate considerazioni sui preziosi endemismi presenti e viene riportata la presenza di un gruppo di Rhinolophus hipposideros (Chiroptera).
ABSTRACT
The results of the faunistic research carried out in 2005 in the Grutta di Nicolau or Grutta de Traddia, located in Monte Cudias, in the municipality of Villaputzu (south-eastern Sardinia) are reported. More than thirty years after the last biospeleological contribution relating to this cavity 5 new taxa have been reported. In the face of a limited number of arthropod species found, considerations are made on the precious endemic species founded and the first report of a group ofRhinolophus hipposideros (Chiroptera).
